TWO MORE NOT-FOR-PROFIT PUBLICITY WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED FOR 2010
September 16th  and  November 11th
Thursday 5:00-7:00pm
Hello there. Very sorry to announce that September's Work Shop has to be canceled.
There's a valid excuse, my back injury has flared again.  November's still on. And again, very sorry about this.

This two hour workshop is a no cost educational exchange of pertinent information that every non-profit can take immediate advantage of. Topics that have been discussed:
available Bay Area no/low cost advertising space, various publicity options, putting on successful events, branding and design. Attendance has ranged from two to the maximum of twelve participants. Specifically these are not vendor 'commercials', however questions relating to working together, price and production scenarios historically pop up. If there's interest by individuals or the group to get into a 'business' discussion, we ask for that please to be held until the last 15-20 minutes. And certainly it's okay to forward this invite to your staff and friends at other non-profits. RSVP to INFO@GreatKolor.NET

"Thanks so much for the informative workshop. All the best."
  B.P. - American Red Cross

"It was lovely to meet you yesterday. Keep us in mind if any free space appears on your radar - if budget allows and the timing is right who knows..... Very Best wishes."  S.V. - Lamplighters Music Theatre

"Thank you for the workshop. It is nice of you to offer it. I appreciated getting the names of some of the companies that sell advertising around SF. Do you happen to know the names of any of the companies that do this in Palo Alto? I really enjoyed the Cameron exhibit as well--some inspirational work. Thanks again."  A.F. - Palo Alto Art Center

"Thanks Gene, for inviting me. I found the workshop helpful and motivational. I'm going to contact our new Executive Director to try to get underway with some of these great ideas. You are very nice!"  L.G. - Jeremiah O'Brien

"Thanks so much for a great workshop last night. I learned a lot and really enjoyed your presentation style. It was nice to hear an informative discussion rather than a sales pitch. It made me want to try your services even more! I also passed the magazine onto our office manager. It was filled with good info about spaces in SF. Thank you so much for your kindness and informative presentation. I look forward to working with you in the future!"
V.W. - Astronomical Society of the Pacific

"Thanks for these contacts and for the wonderful workshop. You’re providing a great service to non-profits and I look forward to hearing about future events."  R.S. - American Bach Soloists

"Thanks so much for the information on Wed. night, it was most helpful. I have passed your information along to some colleagues at the Conservancy and will definitely call with questions about some of our outdoor advertising needs. Thanks"  V.B. - Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy

"Hi Gene! You are so kind to thank us for coming! I was just about to send YOU a thank you email for such an informative workshop.  The information you presented and advertising spaces you illuminated is probably some that most artists and non-profits don’t even realize is there for the taking.  Like I mentioned last night, I will be in touch with you about our publicity guide. It might not be out until the beginning of the year, but I’ll keep you in mind as we finalize it and finish it up.  Thanks again!M.W. - Dancers' Group

"Thanks the workshop was really helpful. I will definitely keep you in mind for the next high profile event we do."   M.A. - League of Women Voters

"Thanks – that was a helpful workshop and I’m glad I made it.  I will get to work on finding a way to pay for printing as soon as I can because I am very interested in getting word out on the streets about what we’ve got to offer here at CMC!"  S.C. - Community Music Center
